“Dollars & Danger” is a fast, top-down, score-chasing prototype about risk–reward. The core loop asks players to weave through traffic moving at varying speeds while collecting scattered cash. I tuned lane speeds, spawn timing, and pickup spacing to create readable but escalating patterns that reward anticipation over pure reflex. Power-ups reinforce the theme: a lightning bolt slows time to encourage aggressive routes, while a star grants brief invulnerability for high-risk moves. Simple shapes, saturated color, and sharp audio cues communicate threat and opportunity at a glance. The result demonstrates encounter pacing, telegraphing, and moment-to-moment decision design.
